I can check this off my list... Won't go again!
Despite the annoying and irritating experience during Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, I did enjoy myself afterwards. The festival was overcrowded with lots of people pushing and shoving. Water was expensive and the lines for the free water stations and water fountains were ridiculous (waited an hour in lines for water). The Port-a-Jons were disgusting (no trash for feminine care products, just imagine what some nasty females left behind ewwwwww). It was hot and very humid as it was supposed to rain but not a single drop fell this weekend. A fall festival with more bearable weather for being outside for 12 hours would be ideal. The shows between the two stages were too close together, forcing you to leave one show early to catch the next (unless you didn't mind missing a performance). Overall, it was a good time with the opportunity to see the performances I wanted to see and catch bits and pieces of others.
